| A 10 year-old previously healthy male is rushed to the Emergency Department by his mom. He is tearful and complains of extreme pain in his right eye stating, "It feels like there's something in my eye". You further learn that about 10 minutes ago, the boy inadvertently sprayed oven cleaner into his right eye. He is holding a moist towel against his eye, but has not been flushing it out since the accident. He denies any other injuries. No significant past medical or surgical history.
