A 62 year-old white female presents with the complaint of dry eyes.  She describes a "gritty" feeling in her eyes that has bothered her for several months.  Upon further questioning, she mentions that her mother-in-law has commented that her eyes appear to be "bulging out" and that her husband is paranoid that she has been constantly staring at him lately.
