| Patient is a 65-year-old female who presents to your office with the following complaint: "I've been having a harder time reading my magazines the past few months." She also notes that her right eye seems a little blurrier than her left eye. She reports no other visual symptoms, no eye pain, no discharge, and no constitutional symptoms. Her medical history is negative other than mild osteoarthritis in her hips and hands. She currently takes no prescription medications but does take ibuprofen for arthritis. Her social history includes smoking a pack of cigarettes per day with a 30 pack year history and drinking one glass of red wine each evening with dinner. |
